and Field Techniques Workshop

This 2.5 day workshop will consist of classroom presentations and field sessions, and provides an introduction to monitoring techniques, ecology, and conservation of Northern California forest bats.

 

Topics will include:

  • Mist netting including handling opportunities for those with proof of current rabies vaccination

  • Ecology, habitat requirements, conservation, and mitigation strategies

  • Acoustic monitoring
